Jesus Christ took a handful of stout-hearted followers and trained them in the ways of His Father. He came into their world and then invited them into His world of the Kingdom. It is because of His intentionality with the few then that the world knows the Gospel at large now. LEGACY is a place for spiritual training and equipping akin to the first century model of Christ today. It's a training where Christ Himself is the central subject and where His indwelling Spirit is the central experience.
What are we about? We are about Reality, not theory. The Word, not culture. The Holy Spirit, not the flesh. The Body, not individualism. Virtue, not appearance. We are about the Person of Jesus Christ.

Where is LEGACY located
LEGACY is located on a beautiful 40-acre lakefront property on Lake Martin in Dadeville, Alabama.
What is your purpose
Our purpose is encapsulated in Colossians 1:28, to proclaim Christ and admonish and teach everyone in all wisdom so that they may be fully mature in Christ.
What programs do you offer for students
Our flagship program is a 10-week discipleship school in the summer for students age 18-28. We also host various worship nights and shorter retreats throughout the year. Please keep an eye on our social media and sign up for our newsletter for announcements regarding our latest offerings.

What is the property like
Guest and students stay in our gals’ and guys’ houses. Each house has a full kitchen, communal living room, and laundry room. Each room has four comfortable, custom bunk beds, each with a curtain, shelf, reading light, and a shared bathroom and closet. For couples and families, we also have a two-bedroom guest house available upon request.
Classes, worship, and meals all take place down at the Lodge. We also have full-time staff housing on the property and a lakefront, volleyball beach, and beautiful surrounding forests.
Is LEGACY affilitated with a denomination
LEGACY is not a part of any denomination and is itself not a proponent of any particular denomination, movement, ministry, or man (1Cor.1:10,13). We are simply endeavoring to live Christian lives that reflect the New Testament as we serve Christ’s Body at large (1 Cor. 4:1). “In one Spirit we were all baptized into one Body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and were all given to drink one Spirit” (1Cor.12:13). LEGACY wholeheartedly welcomes students into the training from every denominational background, but cannot guarantee our methodology to be similar. We welcome Catholics and Protestants, liturgical and charismatic backgrounds alike, but will not fall clearly into any of these “categories.” Our focus is the corporate aspect of the Body of Christ with its many unique and gifted members, and not any specific movements (1Cor.12:4-7). Instead of focusing on the specific differences among Christians, at LEGACY we rather choose to focus on the centrality of Jesus Christ and the shared reality of our common faith in Him (Jude 3).

Do you offer scholarships
We offer need-based scholarships to applicants who demonstrate a desperation to go deeper with the Lord Jesus, and who are actively fundraising and working to cover their tuition. We do not offer full scholarships. It is our belief that your time at LEGACY will be all the more impactful if you get skin in the game.

My LIFE BEFORE LEGACY WAS ONE OF CONFUSION.
I knew the Lord but was living contrary to His life for me. It resulted in a lot of guilt and shame, but at LEGACY I learned about Resurrection Life . I realized that my guilt and shame were nailed to the cross with Jesus, and I now can live in freedom with Christ’s Life inside of me.
