We have fully given our lives to our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ! Wendy and I have been married now for eleven years and the major focus of our marriage and our walk in the Lord is to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. We cannot escape this calling!

In the early days of my conversion, the Lord graciously added a spiritual father unto me, who would restore and build into my life. This man, Hendrik Oosthuizen, from my home of South Africa, mentored me into a full restoration of the stature of the measure of the fullness of Jesus Christ. It was from this man that I learned about the reality of God! Like many young believers in Christ, I was tempted to become a Christian according to the flesh, according to self, according to the natural way of living and not according to the Spirit of God with power! It was from this man that I learned that the kingdom of God is not a matter of speech, but of the power of the Spirit producing a transformed person within me, according to the image of Christ, and Him Alone! (1 Corinthians 4:20) It is because of my spiritual father that Wendy and I have a heart to mentor and disciple believers into Christ Jesus!

With that background, LEGACY School Of Discipleship has fulfilled a vision I have held ever since I left South Africa in 1998. It took years of preparation before Father God allowed us to step into this dream, but the unction to shepherd and mentor young people has only increased over the years as we have watched countless young people struggle to grow and mature in their walks with Christ.

Our heart is not to be hip, cool or contemporary. Our heart is to be spiritual mentors that will teach young people Christ as their way of life! We want, just like Paul, to betroth young people to Christ - to present them as a pure virgin unto Christ Jesus! (2 Corinthians 11:2)

We have given our lives unto this mandate and are burdened in the Lord to have many attend LEGACY! When Christ is formed into them, and subsequently through them, their lives will be building with gold, silver and precious stones, leaving a spiritual LEGACY with great and eternal ramifications.

May His LEGACY in and through us be great!
