LEGACY's spiritual content and focus is simple! We want to accomplish what Paul set out to accomplish in his ministry under the headship of Jesus Christ. His focus was to betroth believers unto Christ!

Experiential union with Jesus Christ (1 Co. 6:17) is a much neglected focus in modern Christianity. At LEGACY, we are well aware of God's urgent jealousy for saints to be one with their Lord. It is this holy burden that ties together the content and curriculum focus for the entire LEGACY training.

As pertaining to theological matters, LEGACY's focus is very narrow in scope. During the training we wish to introduce the following four crucial elements as the (in our estimation and experience) necessary dynamics of the Normal Christian Life:

We explore the multifarious aspects of the divine and uncreated life (zoe) of God Himself. From Genesis to Revelation, the practical emphasis here is to live daily by this divine Life.

We explore the wonderful Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The emphasis here is to believe and trust Christ explicitly and to receive His redemptive accomplishments implicitly.

We also concentrate on the fact that man is created by God as spirit, soul, and body. The emphasis here is to learn what it really means to walk in the Holy Spirit within our regenerated human spirit.

We explore the reality of God's eternal purposes and how He accomplishes it according to His New Testament pattern. The emphasis here is to forsake all that clashes with God's will and to follow this eternal pattern in a consecrated way.

The four-fold focus above can be summarized as follows:

It is our earnest desire to be theologically sound, well-balanced, and within the straight and narrow confines of orthodox Christianity as adhered to by the faithful over the ages.

LEGACY's training is absolutely equipping in nature. Our "end goal" is for students to be vital in at least five areas:

1. To possess an inward reality in spiritual matters. The student must live in a continual and genuine state of revival on the inside by enjoying Jesus Christ as the all-inclusive center of the Christian life.

2. To be Spirit-empowered in everything the student does. Our burden here is for each student to live perpetually under the anointing of God, and to fulfill all "spiritual demands" by and through the indwelling Spirit, and not the energy of the flesh.

3. To live a lifestyle that is Word-based versus culture-based. We wish for each student to know the revelation of the Word and to preach, teach, and live every aspect of it with conviction.

4. To be an energetic participant in the Body-life. Students have to discover the unique role each one must fulfill in building up the Body of Christ through the unique grace of God and the gifted capacity He has meted out to each.

5. To be practically virtuous in lifestyle. This is where true spirituality is realized — our service and love to others! Students have to learn what it means to be useful in whatever arena they find themselves in and how to be established in genuine Christian character and testimony.

LEGACY's agenda is for each student to encounter Jesus Christ, no doubt! We further aim to equip each student in five basic areas of normal Christian living and virtue. However, all this serves a greater purpose, and that is to become co-laborers with God in expanding His kingdom.

The training has to produce a kind of lifestyle and subsequently make each student effective in every arena of life as God's instrument and ambassador.
